Hello everyone! My name is Sidraat, and I am a 15-year-old sophomore at UWCSEA East. This is my 4th year participating in Model UN, where I have had the privilege of attending 16 conferences, of which this will be my fifth time chairing.  

MUN has taught me a great deal about the importance of constructive discourse in our world. I’ve enjoyed debating in a variety of committees, and I’m looking forward to experiencing the IMF for the first time! 

I’m honoured to serve as your Head Chair where we will be exploring the prevention of debt traps through unsustainable loans as well as the transition towards a global circular economy.

Hello everyone! My name is Auro and I’m very excited to be serving as your IMF Deputy Chair. I am a 16-year-old currently studying at Tanglin Trust School and I have been participating in MUN for over 5 years now. I’ve had the opportunity to attend close to 10 conferences, of which this will be my 1st time chairing. MUN has allowed me to take part in many different committees over the years, however IMF is a first for me! We will be debating strategies to prevent countries from falling into unsustainable debt while encouraging a global circular economy, focusing on responsible lending, economic stability, sustainable resource use, international cooperation, and long-term development, so I am looking forward to the insightful resolutions and engaging debate that delegates will bring. I hope to make this an enjoyable conference for everyone - see you all at TMUN!
