Anaya S
Deputy Chair
Hi! I’m Anaya Singh, and I’m a passionate student of law, history, politics, and international relations. I’m particularly interested in how historical developments and political institutions continue to shape contemporary international relations and human rights. I’m very attuned to current affairs and an avid reader of academic research, especially surrounding diplomacy, political systems, and international law.
Beyond academics, I am a Co-Leader of both a Creative Writing Society and a Service CCA, experiences that have strengthened my leadership, communication, and ability to engage with different perspectives. I particularly enjoy analysing complex issues from multiple viewpoints and understanding the motivations behind different states’ positions.
As a UNHRC Chair, I’m excited to see delegates critically engage with human rights issues while considering their legal, political, and diplomatic dimensions. I hope to foster a committee that is engaging, respectful, and challenging, with thoughtful debate, strong diplomacy, and creative solutions. I look forward to meeting you all!

Hello everyone, my name is Kartik Goel and I am honoured to serve as your head chair for the upcoming TMUN UNHCR committee. I am 15 years old, studying at Overseas Family School and have been in MUN for over 5 years, attending over 10 conferences over multiple countries. This is my second formal chairing experience and I am eager to continue my MUN journey with fellow deputy chairs and delegates. During this conference, we will be discussing issues from refugee integration to refugee misinformation and the Haiti refugee crisis, so I look forward to constructive debate and unique solutions- looking forward to seeing you all at TMUN for a productive debate.
