Hello! My name is Olivia and I am going to be the AU Head Chair. I am a Grade 11 student attending NLCS (Singapore) and I’ve loved MUN since my first conference here three years ago. In those years I have attended quite a few conferences and have gotten to know the chairing process as well. In AU we will be touching on the problems of unemployment and lack of entrepreneurship across African member-states, as well as the issue regarding private military companies in the Sahel region. The topics are interesting, so I look forward to hearing everyone’s speeches, resolutions, and the many POIs I’m sure we will have. Good luck to all delegates and I’ll see you there!

Hello, my name is Leo and I am the deputy chair for the African Union. I am 16 years old and go to Tanglin Trust School. I have been doing MUN for around 2 years and this will be my 6th conference, out of which this will be my first time chairing a committee. I have done several different committees over my 2 years, and this will be my 2nd time in an African Union committee. In the conference, we will be addressing the issue of the use of private military companies in the Sahel Region, as well as the promotion of youth unemployment and entrepreneurship in the continent. I am looking forward to innovative resolutions and fruitful debate.
