Hello delegates! My name is Johnson, and it is my honour to serve you as Deputy Chair for UNEP. I am a 17-year-old from Tanglin Trust School, Singapore, and have been doing MUN for 2 years now. Even though this is my first time chairing a conference, I have had the opportunity of attending as a delegate at 4 others. MUN has taught me clearly the importance of a Chair in a conference, and I am excited to take on this role for the first time. At this conference, we will be solving issues such as illegal resource extraction, deep-sea fracking, and the growth of artificial intelligence, which I think will be particularly interesting, especially in this era of rapid development. I hope that TMUN26 will be an enjoyable experience for everyone, and I look forward to seeing the resolutions that you delegates end up writing. See you all soon!

Hi everyone! My name is Shriya Sharma and I am in grade 11 in the Canadian International School. This will be my second time chairing a conference, and I am looking forward to meeting you all. This year in UNEP, we will be tackling three critical topics: illegal resource extraction in the Congo Basin, the harmful effects of deep-sea fracking on marine ecosystems, and the environmental impact of the growth of artificial intelligence. These issues are highly pressing in our day and age, and I am looking forward to seeing the constructive resolutions that delegates will create. If you have any questions, please reach out at shsh2028@cis.edu.sg. I hope to make this an enjoyable and memorable conference for everyone, see you soon at TMUN26!

Hello delegates, my name is Atharv, and I am greatly honoured to be your deputy chair at UNEP. I am 15 years old and am currently a student at OFS. I have been attending MUN conferences for over 3 years, and I have attended 6 MUN conferences. This will be the first committee that I will chair. This committee will aim to resolve the issues of illegal extraction of resources, regulating the effects of deep-sea fracking, and addressing the environmental effects of deep-sea fracking. I am looking forward to fruitful debates and resolutions on these issues. I hope this will be an enjoyable conference for everyone. Thank you!
